START UP

  • We will start your system up, and run each zone from the timer to ensure there are no electrical errors.

  • Then, we test your rain sensor for proper operation and check that it is accurately placed to receive rain measurements.

  • Next, we walk through your property and adjust all sprinklers as needed to ensure maximum coverage. All valves are inspected in the valve boxes to ensure there are no leaks or wires chewed by critters.

  • The battery is tested and replaced in the timer if needed and your watering schedule is programmed. We are happy to teach you how to make adjustments to the timer so you will be confident that your system is meeting the watering needs of your landscape.

  • Finally, we will provide you with an assessment of your system with suggestions for improvement and upgrades to optimize its efficiency.

RAIN WATER HARVESTING

Using large tanks and a pumping system, you can have the ability to water your property without using municipal water or well-water. If being green is your thing then we are the company for you!

Backflow Preventer Testing and Installing

A certified backflow device specialist will test your device, make a report and, upon successful testing, submit the report to the appropriate municipality division.
If you don’t have a backflow device we will recommend the right one for your application and provide a quote for installation by a licensed plumber.

WINTERIZATION

Our technician will remove all the water from the system, prepare the backflow device for the winter, and set the timer to “off”. If there are repairs to be made, we will complete them in either the fall or at start-up in the spring.

SITE VISITS

Your irrigation system needs to grow as your landscape changes over time. Adjustments and modifications need to occur regularly to keep your system running at its optimum performance.
We offer bi-weekly, bi-monthly and monthly site visits to ensure your system is efficient and correctly calibrated for current watering needs.
These visits include complete system checks for any broken items or dry spots.

SYSTEM AUDITS

If you feel that your system is not working as well as it should be, it probably isn’t! We do system audits to gauge whether the sprinklers you currently have are correctly fitted with the nozzle required for your precipitation needs.
While we perform the audit, we will suggest features to maximize your water savings. System audits usually cost

DRIP SYSTEM FOR POTS AND GARDEN BEDS

How often do you come home after a visit to the cottage and all your hanging plants are wilted or dead? One of the best things we do is install drippers for hanging pots and raised planter beds. Often we can install them in conjunction with your current irrigation system. Rainwater harvesting systems are another option we provide so that you can water pots and small gardens using water reserves.
